Poker Pro Labs Launches Holdem Profiler

The need for information at a poker table is one of the key ingredients for success whether you play recreationally or professionally. Enter Hold’em Profiler, a new online poker tracking tool that will help track, analyze, and improve your game.  It’s a web-based tool, so there are no downloads or installation processes to deal with and signing up is completely free.  When you try out the service, the first 10,000 hands are tracked for free.  If you decide that Hold’em Profiler is a winner, the starter package costs $2.

Being completely web-based, there are no database management requirements, hand history backups, or issues accessing your tracking information on different computers if you travel away from your main computer.  Poker Pro Labs, which created Hold’em Profiler, ensures that all information is kept private with a posted privacy policy on the site.

The program will automatically import tournament results and you will not have to enter results by hand.  Hold’em Profiler will automatically add the results for you, a big step up from the main hand history tracking programs currently available.  Cash games and tournaments are supported, as are multi-table tournaments, sit and gos, and heads-up tournaments.  While you play, an add-on module can automatically upload hand history files from your computer.  Currently, Hold’em Profiler supports PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and the iPoker Network (Titan Poker).

Registration will take less than 30 seconds and only requires you to put in an e-mail address.  Once you are registered, you will be able to upload your hand history files or initiate the auto-upload process for when you play.  As stated earlier, new sign-ups get a free premium access trial with the first 10,000 hands in storage for free.  There is no expiration date on the free trial; it only expires when you get to 10,000 hands.

If you decide to use the program, there are plenty of flexible and affordable options.  The “Starter” access gets you 100,000 hands storage size for $2 per month.  The “Bronze” level gets you 250,000 hands of storage for $4 a month and Silver gets you one million hands of storage at $6 a month, with discounts available for six and 12 months of prepayment.  The “Gold” level membership gets you five million hands for $10 a month and the “Platinum” access is ten million hands for $15 a month.

Uploading a file is very easy, as users simply click on the “Upload Files” link and then select the file they wish to upload.  Then, press “Upload” and the web-based program will show a status bar until it’s finished.  Once it is, it will show the “Processing Data” bar and update you on how many hands are being parsed for the database.  Once this is completed, the data is processed and you are all done – the hand histories are now in the system and their data is available to see in the reports area.
